A glistening arrangement of beads and sequins are featured on the bodice of this vintage black rayon cocktail dress with peplum treatment, circa 1940s.

The pretty dress consists of a black rayon crepe, and has short sleeves with interior shoulder pads, V-neckline with floral clusters of shiny black sequins and rays of bugle beads, fitted peplum waist, flouncy skirt, woven string belt loops (no belt) and hidden copper side zipper.

*Please note that there is a small amount of bead loss as shown, in front and over the left shoulder.

Otherwise, the dress remains in good condition.  There are no labels.
